About Me

KG Raghunath (Kottukkal Gopala Pillai Raghunath) born on 13’th September 1958 as a proud son of Gopala Pillai and Arundhathi Amma in a small village called Kottukkal in Kollam district. KG Raghunath did his primary schooling from Kottukkal LP, UP Schools and pursued high school education from Anchal East High School. He graduated in Malayalam from Anchal St. John’s College in 1980. Also, he graduated with a Master degree in Malayalam from Kerala University in 1983. Later, he got teacher’s training from Farook College, Calicut. Raghunath continued his pursuit for knowledge and studied Law from Calicut Law College and Psychology from Annamalai University in Chennai thereafter.

Raghunath worked as teacher in Marakkara H.S.S, Velliyode G.H.S.S, Mavoor G.H.S.S, Achuthan Girls G.H.S.S and  Medical College Campus Govt. H.S.S.

After retiring from his career as a teacher, he got active in Literature and have been gifting us all with his amazing creations.

KG Raghunath is currently an Executive Member of literary organizations like Kerala Sahithya Samithi, Bashasamunaya Vedhi and is the Vice President of Calicut Book Club.

  • Best Teacher Award by Jains International Excellence
  • Award by Kerala Education Dept. for the article pointing light at the “Challenges Faced By Relegions (Mathetharathuam Neridunna Velluvilikal)”
